The museums in Trentino have expanded in recent years with new, avant-garde structures, the symbol of which is the MUSE-Museum of Science in Trento, designed by Renzo Piano and opened in 2013. From the provincial capital to the valleys, the network of Trentino museums covers the whole of the province, highlighting the special features of the various areas and telling their stories.

The Trentino museum network

From natural sciences (Muse, Trento) to the Cold War (Base Tuono, Folgaria), from ethnography (Museo degli Usi e Costumi della gente trentina, S. Michele all’Adige) to contemporary art (Mart, Rovereto), without forgetting local traditions (Museo PerVia delle Stampe e dell’Ambulantato, Pieve Tesino) and Trentino personalities such as Fortunato Depero (Casa Depero, Rovereto) and Alcide Degasperi (Casa Degasperi, Pieve Tesino). Any curiosity about this territory rich in biodiversity, culture, history and art can be satisfied in one of the Trentino museums.

Extraordinary architecture

Among the flagships of the Trentino museum network, the MART (Museum of Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto), whose headquarters in Rovereto was designed by Mario Botta, houses a permanent collection of works related to the avant-garde of the twentieth century.

In addition to the Fortunato Depero (born in Rovereto), you can admire works by De Chirico, Carrà and Sironi. The Mart organizes and hosts temporary exhibitions very frequently.

Historic capital of the Trentino area, the city of Trento concentrates most of the traces of the “Great History” present in the area. From the remains of the Roman “Tridentum” (Sass Underground Archaeological Space) to the long season of the Episcopal Principality (Castello del Buonconsiglio, Museo Diocesano Tridentino) with the period of the Council, when Europe’s eyes were all on her, Trento in the in recent years it has been able to enhance and make available its historical and artistic treasures, which are just waiting to be discovered!

Little escape I felt more at home than in a hotel, Mrs. Anna was extremely kind and helpful... the breakfast was excellent and plentiful, the rooms were a little corner of paradise to definitely repeat... they didn't skimp on explanations and information 👍

The charm of time The charm of time in a historic, well-preserved hotel, where you can perceive the passion of the owner, Mrs. Anna, who welcomed us with availability and courtesy. Tidy, quiet, spotlessly clean rooms and all recently renovated. Excellent breakfast with dining room overlooking Lake Levico. Small Spa with swimming pool and sauna, tidy and comfortable, exclusive entrance with reservation. On the fifth floor, a panoramic terrace and massage center where 50 minutes of relaxation fly by under the expert hands of Sonia. What can I say, highly recommended.

Wonderful hotel Stayed 1 night to visit the Christmas markets. Fabulous hotel, excellent from all points of view. Spacious and spotlessly clean double rooms, quality and plentiful continental breakfast, professional and helpful staff. Advised.

Winter stay Short stay for the Christmas markets. A beautiful, well-maintained old building, only here and there the carpet shows signs of age. The location is good but it doesn't have private parking and you have to hope to find something nearby (I've always managed to). Comfortable and warm room, the cleanliness of the bathroom was not impeccable. The owner is friendly (I presume) but perhaps a little cold in her manner, her collaborator at the reception is very kind and nice. Small but nice wellness centre, booking is therefore more than understandable but perhaps it would be better with one hour shifts instead of two and lower costs. Breakfast good in quality and quantity.

Cheap and clean hotel, recommended! Central location and close to the spa. With a few steps you can reach the main points of Levico. Parking in October was not a problem and we parked in front of the hotel. Period hotel in decorations but renovated in the main parts so everything is clean and pleasant. Functional and decorous room with large bathroom. The breakfast was sufficient. The whole standard is there... perhaps the standard could be raised with a few more typical desserts, some cream desserts instead of the cold cream to garnish on the side, certainly an additional coffee machine would eliminate annoying queues in the morning and above all adding speck to the savory selection would be a gem that many hotels already prepare in Trentino. The small swimming pool with which the hotel is equipped is subject to a fee and must be booked (cost €20), the water is a little cold, the cervical waterfall does not work, there are also 4 other hydromassage stations in operation; in my opinion it could be an added value as it is, however the cost hinders use and those who use it once are unlikely to return. In the season in which the accommodation was used the prices were very low and convenient so for me it was a good stay and I recommend it.

Hotel Eden Levico Terme Albergo in stile con camere ampie e molto pulito. Ottima e abbondante colazione con dolce e salato. Unica pecca: un’unica macchinetta per fare caffè e cappuccini. Zona comoda per andare a fare vari giri dei dintorni è splendido il paesino di Levico Terme. ordinato e pulito

hotel al lago Hotel in centro a Levico in palazzo del primo novecento dove si respira un atmosfera quasi da Belle Epoque, ma con servizi moderni. Comodo per il centro, a pochi passi, e al lago a 10 minuti di passeggiata. Gentile e professionale lo staff. Unica pecca la cassaforte non funzionante nella mia camera.
