ITINERARIES IN THE MOUNTAINS
A crown of mountains
Between the Lagorai and the Dolomites
The Valsugana is wedged between the limestone group of Cima Dodici, whose vertical walls divide it from the plateaus of Vezzena and the Sette Comuni, and the porphyritic chain of the Lagorai, which with its wild environment forms the watershed with the Valle di Fiemme. A short distance away, the Brenta Dolomites to the west, the Pale di San Martino and the most famous Dolomite massifs of the Val di Fassa to the east.
Magico Lagorai – the authentic mountain
About 70 km long, the Lagorai chain is the real mountain treasure of Valsugana. Huge areas almost devoid of anthropization, shored up here and there only by a hut with its pasture, but dotted with beautiful alpine lakes: this is paradise for hikers in search of peace.
Walks for everyone
From the level of the lake, passing through the mid-mountain walks in the immediate vicinity of Levico, then climbing to Vetriolo or on the other side on the Vezzena plateau, the itineraries for a gentle trekking are numerous and accessible to everyone, including children and the elderly. . For the more “prepared” hiker there is no shortage of itineraries with important differences in height, equipped paths and high altitude trails on the Lagorai.
